The guy who always wears chain mail and a cape downtown, is standing on top of a planter playing guitar today.

Girls... On skateboards... In dresses. Enough said. Damn this town is awesome.

I get to see interesting people like Henry Rollins just walking down Mass St. on a regular basis.

Hardcore. In less than five minutes I saw 5 different people, not in any sort of group, biking through this down pour like it was any other day.

Ummm... why do you have emoticons downtown? Oh, that's "art"!

Saw a bumper sticker downtown that said "Well at least the war with the environment is going well."

"my seventh grade boyfriend was my most serious relationship...." Gotta love freshmen

So it turns out if I don't go see his mom and go and get fingerprinted I'm fucked.

Friend of mine from Australia mentioned this today: "I'm sure I see 80% of my annually required number of stoned people whenever I visit Lawrence."

I have been to many places in the world and being back in Lawrence for a visit just reaffirms the fact that it is my favorite place on the planet! The beauty and creativity here are so inspiring. I hope someday to live here again!
