The guy who always wears chain mail and a cape downtown, is standing on top of a planter playing guitar today.

Just saw a teenager walking down Mass in a goth outfit that looks like what Pinhead wore in the Hell Raiser movies.

We were really partying in Lawrence, even a hundred years ago.

Only in Lawrence. 105 degree weather. Guy dressed head to toe in a Wolverine costume standing on a corner in full sunlight playing an accordian.

9 billion people downtown and I still can manage to find a place to park!

"I gotta go. I'm starting to get clausterphobic." says the woman outside.

Hardcore. In less than five minutes I saw 5 different people, not in any sort of group, biking through this down pour like it was any other day.

I get to see interesting people like Henry Rollins just walking down Mass St. on a regular basis.

watching the art car parade in Lawrence - I definitely moved to the right town

there isn't a single thing in sf that i can do that i can't do in Lawrence, except maybe bitch about the rain.

I have been to many places in the world and being back in Lawrence for a visit just reaffirms the fact that it is my favorite place on the planet! The beauty and creativity here are so inspiring. I hope someday to live here again!

I love that I can't walk two blocks downtown for lunch without running into at least 4 people I know.

Lawrence is one of few towns were a male can be wiccan, geek and in his 40's and still have the college women hit on him, thank goodness for the open minded!

It's not all that rare to see a conservative looking person, driving a conservative looking car, that has a Grateful Dead sticker in the window. But until now I've never seen a conservative looking person, driving a very conservative looking car, with a big Rocky Horror Picture Show sticker on the back window. I love Lawrence!

@shhenning I'm curious if it's something to do with #lawrence or #kansas. It seems to me that a lot of people suffer from migranes here :(
