Spent all afternoon working from the Train Park. Lots of bums around, a couple were smoking joints and drinkin vodka. Oh #lawrence :)

One thing I like about Lawrence KS is this: you never know what the hell is going to happen next. We saw a flash and boom out our front window tonight. Someone having fun with fireworks a few blocks away. Then they got bigger! I jumped on the scooter and zipped down to Broken Arrow Park a few blocks south and saw one of the best fireworks displays I've ever seen! The kinda show that cities pay for. No clue why it was going on or who it was for, because there weren't any parties or festivals going on. Just a small group spontaneously showing their love of fireworks, I guess. Then I heard sirens approaching...
